My friend Andrew from Calgary decided to marry his girlfriend Amanda in San Diego. Check out Andrew, the guy in white is about 5 feet tall ;-) So I went off and spend the weekend down there. I like to visit San Diego; it is a neat place to hang out. During my time in San Diego I met several people related to Nextwave. I even spend a day at the office as my crappy hotel room did not have a reliable Internet connection. This place surely has changed and now looks almost abandoned. There have been drastic cuts in staffing and about half of the NWB folks I met while in SD where actually already been laid off. I wish all of the NWB bunch the best and maybe we meet again somewhere else! Image taken from the boat with my phones
