Default Router Usernames and Passwords
This list reflects default usernames and passwords for routers
and access points I run across while working as a contractor. I am strong
advocate of changing the passwords, specially on wireless devices and any device
that offers remote access via web or telnet. Some devices like the Zyxel
allow you to disable all remote access. You than can use a RS232 cable and
connect to them using your favorites client. My client of choice is
TeraTerm. Most routers
can be reset easily to these passwords using the manufacturers recommended
procedure.
